Who We Are
Although Nick Baker had a saving faith at age 10, he didn't want to give up control of his life. So a few years later, at 16, Jesus brought him to a point of humility where he realized his need to give up control of his life. Once in college, he found a community of believers who were sold out on following Christ. Their fire for Jesus was so contagious that it spilled over into Nick's personal relationship with the Lord. As Nick continued to grow in trusting God, many areas of of his life were refined. Halfway through college, Nick began to lead bible studies, help with worship, and disciple other students. All of that was several years ago. He's now married and focusing on helping plant 2.42 Church so that it can be used by God to change others lives in the same way that Christ has changed his own life.

David Grotheim has the largest lava lamp you have ever seen, period! It could be worth a trip to his office only to marvel at it...but call first, as it takes four hours to heat up. While waiting for the aforementioned lava flow, David can regale you with tales of other trinkets scattered about, or tell you all that Christ has done for him over the last 16 years. David has been married to Kara for the last three years and is getting better and better at it, though he has been playing too many video games of late, specifically Red Dead Redemption. Go Old West Justice!

Joshua Jarma, once a mild-mannered baker, was frying donuts one night when he was bitten by a radioactive human. He gained the strength and intelligence of an average human as well as the remarkable ability to grow a beard if he didn’t shave for a while. With his incredible abilities Joshua pledged to love and serve the Lord with all his heart, soul, mind and strength. Joshua spends most of his non-disguised time with his ladies – Lisa, whom he married in the early 21st century, and Faith, his daughter, who may have inherited some of his super powers.

Clif Turner has a strong dislike of onions. Don't try to put those past him. An avid sports fan, and college football enthusiast, you may hear Clif moonlighting as a public address announcer at a variety of Texas State athletic events. More importantly, he's passionate about people; helping them connect and cooperate with what God is wanting to do in their lives. Originally from Hico, Texas, (that's "high-coh" for you city-folk) Clif graduated from Texas A&M in 2008 with a degree in political science.
